In 2020, a year that almost did not see baseball due to the Corona Virus, a small parade was setup to continue the tradition. No announcements were made with the reason of keeping crowds from forming. The parade of 2020 was to deliver the ball for the first pitch from Findlay Market to the Great American Ballpark. The parade consisted of just 6 units. The units were:
Cincinnati Police - Officer Travis Schwab
Parade Banner - carried by Jake Luken & John Southwood
Golf Cart with Cincinnati Reds Cap
Cincinnati Fire Department Company #5 - Lt. William Feckter, FAO Martin Schickel, Firefighter Jonathan Hardman and Firefighter Emma Leidenbor
Pickup with Trailer carrying Grand Marshal & Opening Day Parade Chairman Neil Luken and Photographer & Parade Committee Member Jeffrey Gladish
Grand Marshal: Neil Luken - Findlay Market Parade Chairman (1999 - Present)
